// JUNE 2007
Up and down the passages…

Our first encounter with Alps was in January and February of 2005, when we attempted to make the round of Switzerland by train.

Our next visit was in February of 2006, when we crossed the borders with a rental car, for first time, and passed from Italy’s Torino to French Alps’ Chamonix.

In May of 2007, we started a grand tour to France, Switzerland and Italy and travelled again the distances by a rental car, which we had taken from Milano.

But we were still ignorant, as far as the particularities of those areas.

We fell on a late snowstorm near the borders of Switzerland and France, which almost cost us our flight back home to Greece. It was then that we lost our overconfidence and started respecting the mountains and their specific climate.

So, in that same year’s June, we started again, decided to see it all. And this time everything went fine…
